There’s nothing wrong with a conference full of philosophical ideas or personal projects. But that’s not Web Day Out. This is all about what you can use right now in production at work.

There’s a lot to cover. The last few years have seen an explosion of capabilities within HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. If you haven’t been able to keep up, don’t worry: that’s what Web Day Out is for.

In theory you could do your own research online about all these advances in front-end development, if you had enough time and motivation. But there’s something special about being together with other people like yourself. It’s incredibly therapeutic to spend a day with your peers, learning collectively.
