There’s one guiding principle behind the curation of the talks at Web Day Out: they need to be ruthlessly practical.

There’s nothing wrong with a conference full of philosophical ideas or personal projects. But that’s not Web Day Out. This is all about what you can use right now in production at work.

There’s a lot to cover. The last few years have seen an explosion of capabilities within HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. If you haven’t been able to keep up, don’t worry: that’s what Web Day Out is for.

There’s another reason why you should be in Brighton on 12 March 2026…

In theory you could do your own research online about all these advances in front-end development, if you had enough time and motivation. But there’s something special about being together with other people like yourself. It’s incredibly therapeutic to spend a day with your peers, learning collectively.
